Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Support Worker to join an already exciting professional team that supports young people aged 16-25 to become flourishing individuals and overcome interconnected problems that lead them to access our services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate and empower young people in our services, accompanying them to appointments and linking them to local community support services.
* Maintain all aspects of young people's files and service records to professional standards, ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act.
* Provide young people with opportunities to participate in service development, liaising with other departments within the organization.
* Deliver child protection and vulnerable adult responsibilities according to local and organizational policies and procedures.
* Ensure the premises are maintained to high standards and meet all legal and statutory safety requirements, reporting and progressing maintenance needs.
Additional Duties:
* Assist in preparing accommodation, including some cleaning duties.
* Work with young people using a holistic and person-centered approach, adapting support packages to meet individual needs.
* Lead and participate in the development and delivery of service work plans.
* Ensure timely and high-standard data recording and reporting.
* Perform any other reasonable requests by management, consistent with the service's nature.

Requirements:
* Experience working with young people and supporting socially disadvantaged and vulnerable individuals.
* Experience and/or willingness to work with individuals demonstrating challenging behavior.
* Experience working in environments requiring confidentiality and health and safety awareness.
* Youth work, Housing, or Children’s Residential NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
* A full UK driving license is desirable.
* Enhanced DBS check, preferably on the update service.
