As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will: Manage a
£40m package of works
, leading a team of junior QSs while mentoring and nurturing their development. Provide commercial input, including financial and contractual performance forecasts to the management team. Ensure business targets and KPIs are met or exceeded. Collaborate with the wider Commercial Team to advise on strategies that ensure successful conversion of opportunities and profitability. Assess, review, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks, implementing Kier Group's risk management policies. Deliver robust, accurate, and timely cost and value reporting at the project level, including preparing and updating monthly VCRs and forecasts. What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have: A relevant
Degree
or equivalent in Quantity Surveying. Proven experience in a senior commercial capacity, managing sizable teams, preferably in the Water sector or regulated utilities. Knowledge of
NEC forms of contract
and current Construction Law. Experience in commercial management and procurement of subcontractors, including chairing meetings and managing the measurement and control cycle. A collaborative spirit, ready to work alongside procurement teams to implement project procurement strategies. At Kier, we value potential!
