1. Run your own clinical negligence caseload from day one, not just assisting
2. Work alongside some of the most experienced claimant specialists in the UK
3. Clear progression, strong benefits and a genuinely supportive team culture
If you’re early in your clinical negligence career, the difference between assisting and actually running cases is everything. This role gives you that step up.
You’ll take on your own caseload while still having access to senior support on more complex matters. The work is varied and meaningful, covering the full spectrum of clinical negligence, and you’ll be trusted to handle files properly, not just progress tasks. From the outset, you’ll be expected to understand your cases, your clients and the strategy behind them.
In the first year, the focus is on building confidence and consistency, managing files end-to-end, working with experts and counsel, and developing your technical ability. Beyond that, there’s room to shape your path, whether that’s deepening your specialism, getting involved in business development, or progressing through the firm’s structured framework.
The team itself is well-regarded for its quality of work and results-driven approach, but without the sharp edges you sometimes see elsewhere. It’s collaborative, supportive and commercially aware, a place where you’re encouraged to grow rather than compete internally.
