Overview
Blue Arrow are recruiting for Order Pickers / Packers for a pet food distributor based in Hailsham.
Responsibilities
* Order Picking: Locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves based on order slips or digital instructions. Ensure accuracy in item selection, quantity, and condition.
* Packing and Labelling: Pack items securely for shipment. Label packages correctly with shipping and handling information.
* Inventory Management: Assist with stock checks and inventory counts. Report low stock levels or discrepancies.
* Operating Equipment: Use pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment (if certified). Maintain equipment and report any issues.
* Maintaining Cleanliness and Safety: Keep work areas clean and organized. Follow health and safety regulations, including wearing PPE.
* Documentation and Reporting: Record items picked and packed. Use handheld scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS).
Shift and Pay
The working hours are 9:30am-6:30pm Monday - Friday. The pay rate will be £12.21 per hour. Ongoing work.
