HGV Mechanic Location: Kentish Town Salary:
£42,558
per annum plus a shift allowanceof £84.06 per week when working the 13:30 - 22:00 shift. A weekend supplement for Saturday (£50 per attendance) and Sunday (£100 per attendance) shift attendance is applicable. Saturday working will be required on a rotational basis once every 3 weeks. We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Mechanic to join our clients main dealership in Kentish Town. The successful Vehicle Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles makes and models.

HGV Mechanic responsibilities: Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues. Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used. Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
HGV Mechanic requirements: You will need to have experience as a vehicle Mechanicand a relevant and up to date qualification for HGV level 2 or above. **We will consider level 3 IMI (or equivalent) vehichle Mechanics and will skill you up to HGV** You will be a person who takes great pride in your work. You will have incredible attention to detail and an eye for spotting things others cannot. A full UK driving licence - no more than 9 points or bans on the licence
