Shifts: full time hours, Monday to Friday.
About the Role:
As a Social Worker, you will provide essential support to individuals and families facing a wide range of challenges. You’ll assess needs, develop care plans, and work alongside multidisciplinary teams to safeguard vulnerable people and improve their quality of life. This is a highly rewarding role where you will directly impact the wellbeing and safety of those you support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Comprehensive Assessment: Conduct detailed assessments and risk evaluations for service users.
* Care Planning: Develop, implement, and review tailored support plans.
* Safeguarding: Ensure the protection of vulnerable children and adults.
* Advocacy: Support clients to access healthcare, housing, benefits, and community resources.
* Collaborative Working:> Partner with healthcare professionals, local authorities, and voluntary organisations.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely case notes in compliance with professional standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Education: Degree in Social Work (or equivalent).
* Licenses: Yes.
* Experience: Previous experience as a Social Worker required in a Local Authority.
* Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong case management and problem-solving ability. Resilience and empathy when working with complex cases.
* Collaborative Mindset: A proactive team player who values safeguarding and empowerment.
