SEND Teacher – South Kirkby Area Start Date: ASAP Are you a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher looking to make a real impact? A specialist primary provision in the South Kirkby area is seeking an enthusiastic SEND Teacher to lead high-quality learning for children aged 4–7 years with Autism and communication needs. This full-time, term-time only role offers the opportunity to teach within a small, nurturing environment supporting around 10–11 pupils. You will deliver structured, engaging lessons tailored to individual needs, as well as providing targeted one-to-one interventions and small group teaching to help children make meaningful progress academically, socially and emotionally. Role Responsibilities: Teaching pupils aged 4–7 with Autism and communication difficulties Planning and delivering differentiated lessons that meet individual learning needs Leading 1:1 intervention sessions to support personalised progress Delivering small group learning focused on communication, early literacy, numeracy and social skills Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment Using a range of SEND teaching strategies including visual supports, sensory approaches and structured routines Monitoring, assessing and recording pupil progress in line with EHCP targets Building strong relationships with pupils, families and the wider teaching team What We’re Looking For: A patient, resilient and child-focused SEND Teacher Experience teaching children with Autism and communication needs Strong understanding of adapted teaching strategies and early developmental learning Ability to design and deliver engaging lessons for varied learning profiles A calm, consistent approach to behaviour and emotional regulation Commitment to helping every child succeed What We Offer: Competitive daily rates: £150 – £220 per day (AWR compliant) Term-time only role providing excellent work–life balance Ongoing professional development and in-school training 24/7 support from experienced education consultants A clear, supportive and honest approach—ensuring the right match for your career Since 2005, our mission has been simple: to inspire potential and to get it right, first time.
