Job Description:
The 35-year leader in Europe in the sale of security systems, operating in 17 countries between Europe and South America, with more than 26,000 employees and more than 5,000,000 customers worldwide, is searching for a:
Financial Controller
The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of a company, establishing and maintaining a robust internal control system within the organization. He/she will conduct in-depth analyses of financial performance and will monitor cost categories and allocations between corporate functions, identifying variations and providing recommendations to enhance efficiency and profitability. He/she will implement internal control procedures to ensure the integrity of financial data and will collaborate with operational departments to contribute to strategic decision-making. Consequently, he/she will have a crystal-clear understating of how the cost structure of the company is built. The role combines financial expertise with a goal-oriented perspective and a business mindset.
Key responsibilities:
1. Internal control: implement and maintain internal control procedures to ensure the integrity and accuracy of economic and financial data
2. Continuous improvement: continuously assess and improve internal control systems in response to changing business environments
3. Interdepartmental collaboration: work closely with operational departments to understand business dynamics and contribute to strategic decision-making
4. Reporting: prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
5. Revenue and cost structure analysis and optimization
6. Business performance measurement and analysis of variances
7. Design trusted and intuitive business reports and KPIs on actual figures
Requirements:
8. At least 2 years of working experience in similar roles
9. Degree in Economics, Engineering, Statistics or Mathematics
10. Advanced knowledge of Office programs, especially Excel
11. Strong “can-do” mentality and “drive” to accomplish tasks and deliver results
12. Good teamwork, positive attitude, and flexibility
13. A good knowledge of BI tools and a deep sense of curiosity are considered strong plus
