About the Role
Support Exolum Tyneside Operations in the accurate and efficient processing of all road tankers arriving at the terminals to load and/or discharge product.Ensure compliance with all Company and legislative requirements on safety and environmental aspects, whilst maintaining an efficient operational and commercial terminal.
Key Responsibility
1. To optimise all operations involved in product storage and handling
2. To ensure that operational records where required are accurately maintained
3. To assist in the development and review of standard operating procedures, as required
4. To fulfil any role, within the Operations Department, for which appropriate training has been given
5. To ensure that any work undertaken is carried out to the standards required by the Terminal’s management
6. To liaise with all outside agencies, if necessary, on all relevant matters associated to product storage and handling
7. To ensure that housekeeping standards are maintained
8. To communicate effectively with appropriate personnel to ensure the efficient performance of the Operations Department
About You
The successful candidate will have a good standard of education,5 GCSE’s A-C or equivalent with at least 1 years’ previous work experienceIndustry experience in aspects of a fuel terminal would be advantageous.Excellent communication skills be self-motivated and have excellent literacy and numeric skills, great at working in a team and be proficient in IT system, including Microsoft Office, Excel and Word be a proven self-starter and willing to adapt to change and show good judgement.
