Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office administration, perferably within a legal setting, and possess excellent communication skills. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting various administrative functions.

Duties

* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team, including managing schedules and coordinating meetings.
* Handle incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
* Maintain accurate records through data entry and clerical tasks, ensuring all information is up to date.
* Utilise Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for document preparation, presentations, and spreadsheets.
* Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks, including invoicing and expense tracking.
* Organise files and documents systematically for easy retrieval and reference.
* Collaborate with team members to improve office processes and enhance overall efficiency.

Skills

* Previous office experience is essential, with a focus on administrative roles.
* Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
* Proficient typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Familiarity with QuickBooks is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: From £12.60 per hour
