An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Account Manager/Senior Account Manager to join my client, one of the worlds leading generic pharmaceutical manufacturers, specialising in prescription medicines, over-the-counter products, and animal health solutions. You will join one if not the fastest-growing animal health company in the UK, driven by a commitment to supplying high-quality generic medicines to veterinary practices. The team focuses on improving the profitability of veterinary businesses while supporting the health and welfare of pets and farm animals nationwide. As the Account Manager for the Southwest, you will be responsible for managing and growing sales within veterinary practices across the territory, consistently delivering and exceeding sales targets. Responsibilities will include the management of existing accounts, while also driving new business development through face-to-face meetings, video calls and telephone interactions.Strong solution selling abilities, effective negotiation skills, and a resilient can do mindset are essential to thrive in this fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets and deliver all agreed KPIs. Execute the commercial strategy as communicated during sales and cycle meetings, ensuring effective implementation in the field. Plan and manage the territory through structured zoning and account management to maximise sales effectiveness across the region. Drive company sales growth using a solution-selling approach grounded in strong customer insight, comprehensive product knowledge, and a highly professional customer experience. Maintain full transparency of sales activities by accurately recording customer interactions, call planning, presentations, account actions, and follow-up tasks within the CRM system. Ensure optimal utilisation of all available resources, including marketing budgets, promotional materials, and sales tools. Represent and promote the companys products at external events such as conferences, congresses, and trade fairs. Actively participate in professional development, including the companys e-learning courses, training sessions, seminars, and team meetings for Animal Health representatives. Monitor, analyse, and report on market trends, including the companys product performance, competitor activities, and market dynamics within the territory, and propose appropriate actions when needed. Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, acting at all times in accordance with the NOAH code of conduct. Support pharmacovigilance activities by promptly forwarding any safety-related information to the Regulatory Affairs Manager. Complete the NCAH qualification within two years of joining the company, if not already certified.
