About the role
We are looking to recruit an Accountancy Assistant to join our Corporate Finance Team on a permanent, full-time basis.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for a variety of accountancy/finance related tasks, with key responsibilities including:
1. assisting with the running of the Council’s Bank Accounts, Cash Receipting and Income Management, ensuring monthly reconciliations are completed
2. assisting in the delivery of the Housing Loans schemes & Welsh Church Fund
3. using the Council’s Income Management systems to an advanced level, including setting up and maintaining advanced spreadsheets to ensure efficient delivery of work
4. allocating and supervising the work of the Accountancy Technicians in relation to Income Management
5. to act as a support mechanism for the Treasury Management function
