Job Title: Capital Integrated Care System Manager

Function: Customer Engagement

Location: Field Worker (Covering the South West Region)

Type: Permanent

Salary: £39,618 with potential to rise to £46,610 over 3 years

The Integrated Care Systems Account Manager plays a central role in supporting NHS Supply Chain’s mission by managing relationships across a high number of NHS trusts within the South West region. This role exists to build strong, senior level partnerships, develop IC‑wide plans, and coordinate internal expertise to deliver value that extends beyond savings. Acting as the first‑line relationship owner, it balances strategic long‑term projects with day‑to‑day account management, administrative coordination, and proactive problem‑solving. Regular travel is essential, including visiting trusts, IC‑stakeholders, and NHS Supply Chain sites for meetings, ensuring a visible and responsive presence across the region. Through effective collaboration, influence, and customer‑focused delivery, the role helps the NHS achieve better outcomes and frees frontline staff to focus on patient care.


We are seeking a Capital Integrated Care System Manager who will be responsible for:

* Develop and implement IC‑level plans that deliver value beyond savings, using a consultative and customer‑focused approach.
* Build and maintain strong senior relationships across a large number of NHS trusts, acting as the first line contact for all account‑related activity.
* Coordinate and structure internal resources to support customer priorities, working closely with the National Capital IC Manager.
* Influence internal stakeholders across a complex organisation to align activity with customer goals.
* Take ownership and accountability for delivering value in partnership with customers, escalating or seeking support where needed.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across functions such as diagnostics within our commercial directorate.
* Identify, manage, and accelerate growth and savings opportunities across your assigned territory.
* Manage day‑to‑day account administration, ensuring accurate documentation, clear communication, and timely follow‑up.
* Resolve issues quickly and effectively, acting as a problem solver and trusted partner to customers.
* Drive value for customers while holding accountability for revenue and savings KPIs within your region.
* Travel regularly across the South West to meet stakeholders and attend meetings at NHS Supply Chain sites.
* Balance short‑term operational needs with longer‑term strategic projects that support IC transformation.
