API Integration Specialist Runa is pioneering a first-of-its-kind payment rail capable of issuing, sending and accepting digital value at scale. Runa is transforming the payouts landscape with a new digital payments infrastructure that enables businesses to send digital value to anyone, anywhere instantly, free of charge for senders and recipients. Recipients can immediately spend the value they receive on the Runa network including 4000 plus payout types across 37 countries, completely independently of the legacy card rails. Hundreds of leading companies rely on Runa to power instant, flexible global payouts to tens of millions of consumers including Sodexo, TopCashback, Perkbox, Sweatcoin, Coinbase and Globetopper. The Role As our API Integration Specialist, you will support and help to grow our brand universe. Your goal is to help ensure our brand catalogue is growing and working effectively at all times. Collaborating with the internal Partnership team to support implementation and addressing technical issues in real-time. Comprehensive knowledge of the Runa platform is critical to the success of this role. No matter your background, you have a natural curiosity and desire to root cause strange problems and identify elegant and efficient solutions. What Excites You Enjoying the adventure of in-depth troubleshooting and solving technical problems Managing the triage and prioritisation of technical issues related to our brands in order to translate complex technical issues into tangible solutions, ensuring a prompt and complete resolution Providing clear and proactive guidance to onboard brands in a timely manner when the partnership team have ran into problems Collaborating with the different stakeholders within the business including technical and non-technical teams Use a wide variety of tools and logs to make informed decisions to quickly and effectively address software partners’ needs Contributing towards the success of our brands via knowledge-sharing activities such as internal and external documentation, answering technical Q&A, and helping iterate on best practice Being a key part of urgent incident handling and the subsequent post-mortems of these to identify ways of mitigating operational risk and customer impact What Excites Us Around 2-3 years in API integration domain Experience working with REST APIs and related tools like PAW, Postman, Kibana, Grafana, Datadog, YAML Understanding of coding concepts and is familiar with programming languages, such as Java and JavaScript, and tools used across the industry such as GitHub repos and IDEs Team focused mindset; collaborating directly across teams and openly sharing knowledge with others Understanding and writing complex SQL queries You enjoy puzzle-solving, tinkering, testing and experimenting with APIs Excellent communication skills What’s in it for you We have a hybrid structure with the requirement of 1-2 days a week at our London Office (Shoreditch) £1,000 annual L&D allowance to invest in mastering your craft, including accredited studies.
