Role – Senior Consultant, Workforce Transformation at Capgemini Invent
Location: Glasgow, London, Manchester
Responsibilities
* Client engagement and advisory: Partner with client stakeholders to understand organizational goals, assess workforce challenges, and shape transformation agendas.
* Provide advisory services on workforce trends, talent management, leadership development, skills strategies, and workplace culture.
* Develop and implement talent acquisition and management solutions; enhance learning and development programs to address skills gaps and future capabilities; advise on workforce planning aligned with business strategy and market trends.
* Lead cultural transformation initiatives; foster inclusive, high-performing environments; guide organizations through behavioural change.
* Lead scoping, planning, and delivery of workforce transformation projects; ensure solutions are innovative, data-driven, and aligned with client objectives and industry best practices.
* Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and leadership sessions to co-create solutions, build consensus, and drive stakeholder buy-in; nurture client relationships, contribute to thought leadership, monitor industry trends, and innovate offerings.
* Coach and mentor junior team members as part of the practice.
* Collaborate across activities such as business development, internal contribution, and learning & development to support career growth and practice development.
Typical activities
* Conduct skills gap analyses and map current/future capabilities; develop career and learning pathways.
* Co-create and implement career pathways, learning strategies, and learning journeys to support internal mobility and talent development.
* Design and deliver reskilling, learning, and culture change programs.
* Partner with HR, L&D, and business leaders to align workforce initiatives with goals.
* Integrate skills and learning frameworks into HR systems (e.g., LMS, talent management platforms).
* Provide actionable insights from workforce data and analytics; support change management and communication plans to embed new frameworks and tools.
Your Profile
* Ability to work with all levels of the organization; knowledge of market trends across HR, Learning, and Skills; bring your own perspective to clients.
* Growth mindset and desire to work in a client-facing role solving complex challenges.
* Strong relationship-building skills to achieve high standards of quality and extend reach.
* Experience in a major consulting firm or industry with a consulting background is desirable; deep experience in workforce transformation is valued.
* Desirable: experience in a matrixed organization, with ability to enlist support from peers for selling and delivering solutions.
* Experience in Agile Methodology, Design Thinking, and Change Management is desirable; experience in proposition building and delivery is a plus.
