Role - Senior Sustainability Engineer

Their expert-led sustainability team champions holistic, practical, and environmentally conscious solutions across all project stages. A well-established consultancy with over 40 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, sprinkler design, and building services for diverse sectors including industrial, logistics, commercial, residential, and more. Recently integrated into a dynamic consultancy group, emphasising sustainable building solutions in industrial and logistics spaces. Committed to long-term environmental responsibility, climate-conscious design approaches, community engagement, and ethical governance. Proud of delivering engineer-led, efficient, and cost-effective services that reduce both capital and ongoing expenditure.
Role Responsibilities
* Lead sustainability initiatives throughout project lifecycles—from early-stage energy strategies to post-construction assessments.
* Prepare and manage:
o Building Regulation Part L (BRUKL) and EPC/SAP computations
o Overheating / thermal comfort modelling per CIBSE guidance
o BREEAM assessments, pre- and post-certification
* Utilise tools such as LLC (Limiting Carbon Compliance or equivalent), OneClick LCA, and thermal modelling software.
* Collaborate closely with the business development team, supporting technical delivery while enabling senior sustainability leads to focus on strategic direction.
* Drive technically robust, resource-efficient deliverables that align with client ESG goals and design intent.

* Confident in performing LLC energy statements, thermal modelling, BREEAM assessments, BRUKL/EPC/SAP, and OneClick LCA.
