Role: HSE Advisor
Location: Shoreham (site based)

Key Responsibilities
* Act as site advisor for all HSE requirements, ensuring compliance throughout the site.
* Understand and assess the impact of local regulatory standards on the business.
* Investigate near misses and accidents, establishing root causes and lessons learned.
* Lead compliance efforts with standards such as ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001.
* Collaborate with the HSEQ team to identify and deliver training programs.
* Participate in internal management system audits as per the Ricardo Audit program.
* Conduct regular site and office inspections.
* Coordinate and host LRQA audits and contribute to audit themes.
* Manage findings from HSEQ audits relevant to the role.
* Provide regular status reports to the Head of HSEQ on trends, issues, and actions.
* Review and contribute to emergency response plans, including environmental emergencies.
* Manage environmental permits and waste stream traceability.
* Develop environmental aspects and impacts management strategies.
* Oversee the occupational health program for the site.
* Provide guidance and documentation for HSE compliance related to fuel storage systems and gases.
* Complete HSEQ inductions for new employees and ensure refresher training.
* Ensure adherence to contractor and CDM process reviews, including method statements and safe systems of work.
