.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a forward-thinking engineering team, supporting the delivery of innovative design solutions for new product concepts and the customisation of existing aerospace components.
The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring mechanical design output is delivered on time, within budget, to the required quality standards, and in full compliance with stringent aerospace regulations and manufacturing requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
* Contribute to achieving new HOV programme milestones within agreed budgets and timelines
* Maintain engineering compliance with established internal procedures
* Support continuous improvement across operational areas
* Share feedback, learning, and suggestions for product enhancements with the design group
* Help increase the application of lessons learned across the organisation
* Assist the Lead or Senior Engineer in designing components for company products
* Produce required documentation, including mechanical drawings and 3D models
* Provide support to production teams by assisting with investigations, troubleshooting, and resolution of build-related issues
