Erector/Site Installer

Lanarkshire

Nine Twenty Engineering and Manufacturing are working with a leading fabrication company specialising in structural steel for a variety of sectors, to find an experienced Plater/Fabricator to join the team in Lanarkshire.

Responsibilities

* Install secondary steel structures in accordance with drawings and specifications
* Fit and secure flooring systems, handrails, and associated components
* Ensure all installations meet quality and safety standards
* Work effectively as part of a site team to meet project deadlines
* Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment

Requirements

* Proven experience as a steel erector, structural installer, or similar role in construction.
* Experience working with cranes, lifting equipment, and rigging operations.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and steelwork plans.
* Familiarity with bolting, welding, and alignment procedures.
* High school diploma or equivalent (essential).
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Steel Erecting, Structural Steelwork, or a related construction trade (preferred).
* Valid CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
* CPCS, NPORS, or other relevant plant/lifting operation certificates (advantageous).
* Working at Height and Manual Handling certifications (preferred).
