Key Responsibilities:
* Be the eyes, ears, and voice of EDL in KK with respect to test articles and donor seats.
* Assist with EDL purchasing requests.
* Work with reliability engineer and Electrical Cert Engineer to review and respond to deviations on reliability seats and electrical test seats.
* Receive parts that are sent to KK from EDL for OSP to ensure they not “lost”. Put in-work immediately. This may include work-order generation.
* Work with manufacturing to ensure correct DNIL usage; various new DNIL’s for different purposes are in process of being developed and correct application will be imperative for testing.
* Oversite of conformity process and assist with training M.E.’s
* Provide information that will assist in planning rework workload in EDL. Estimate rework hours and load to the test visual management board.
* Advocate for and drive TRR meetings to occur prior to test seats going online. Ensure that test seats are built to the appropriate, agreed upon quality.
* Help ensure that furniture units are built up fully and monuments are fit-checked together before shipping. Any assembly issues should be resolved at KK or added to the EDL SOW as agreed upon by the IPT and EDL.
* Help ensure that required “loose parts” are shipped with test units, including hardware.
* Ensure that units are weighted before shipping.
* When possible, test the functionality of test articles (mechanisms and actuation) and report back to EDL.
* Help estimate EDL rework hours and pre-load the VMB with this information.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

* The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong customer-focus and a mind-set to take on challenges and create solutions
* Excellent communicator with the ability to empower and motivate Team members to enable Project delivery
* Good organizational skills with the ability to juggle a variety of tasks through understanding the appropriate level of detail.
Skills and Experience:
* Engineering degree & 3 years previous experience
* Good understanding of mechanical/ aerospace engineering principles
* Experience in delivery of Engineering Work Packages showing at least some degree of technical leadership
