We are seeking a highly adaptable and enthusiastic Technical Programme Manager with a demonstrable record in battery development, supporting the technical team in delivery of a new battery programme. This role is central to managing timing plans for hardware delivery while juggling multiple client projects. You'll need to keep everything on track, ensuring milestones are met and expectations exceeded.
We have a normal start up environment, no two days are the same, so we need someone who thrives on variety, takes ownership, and isn't afraid to dive into challenges beyond their usual skillset and looks for solutions which are tailored for the business, not just from experience.
What we're looking for:
A programme manager with experience in managing battery development programmes, including successful product launch.
Some high level technical understanding within electrical and mechanical space, with an interest to further develop their knowledge "on the job" - the more knowledge the better
• Proven experience building and managing integrated timing plans, critical paths, and stage-gate milestones
• Experience managing and tracking programme budgets
• Ability to manage technical risk registers and drive mitigation actions
• Confident coordinating cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, clients)
• A natural relationship builder who aligns stakeholders quickly and effectively
• Tenacity, ownership mindset and comfort operating under uncertainty
• Pragmatic problem-solving focused on business outcomes — not "copy-paste" programme management
• Initiative to improve processes, visibility and execution discipline across the business
Key Responsibilities:
• Create, develop and manage timing plans to ensure seamless hardware delivery for our clients
• Manage project budgets from creation to execution and tracking
• Coordinate across multiple client projects, balancing priorities effectively
• Proactively solve problems, even outside your typical role
• Work across teams, keeping stakeholders aligned and informed
• Be part of building a very exciting new business
Additional:
• Must be willing to be on site at multiple times a week (sometimes more if projects require). Role may require international travel in the future
• On-site presence required at least once per week (more as projects require)
• Potential for international travel
