We’re excited to announce an amazing opportunity for two full time Support Time and Recovery Workers to be part of the well established Barking and Dagenham Home Treatment Team (BDHTT) at NELFT! Main duties of the job
As part of a dynamic, 24/7 crisis service, you’ll play a crucial role in providing person-centered support to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis, helping them on their recovery journey in a safe and respectful environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide empathetic, person-centered support to individuals in crisis, helping them to manage their mental health and emotional wellbeing.
2. Work alongside a multi-disciplinary team to assess needs, create recovery plans, and support individuals to make informed decisions about their care.
3. Help individuals access appropriate services and resources, offering practical and emotional support as they navigate through challenging situations.
4. Support service users and carers accessing local community resources, support with social care and social isolation issues and help in confidence building during their recovery phase.

Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
High Cost Area Supplement - Outer London
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of
15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,714 and a
maximum payment of £5,941 - per annum, pro rata for part time
