About the role In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a professional and welcoming reception service to residents and visitors, serving as the key point of contact between them and Haringey Council. You’ll ensure the day-to-day security of the building by checking that all security devices are operational and functioning properly. With a polite and helpful approach at all times, you’ll assist individuals in navigating the building, including guiding them on how to operate and access various entry points. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to providing a safe, supportive environment for all who enter. You have experience monitoring CCTV, and a background in security would be a valuable asset in this role. Due to the nature of the position, flexibility is crucial as you will be required to work during anti-social hours, ensuring coverage and support when it’s most needed. About the team You’ll be part of a supportive team that includes the Concierge Manager and Neighbourhood Manager, who will provide oversight and guidance. While much of your day-to-day work will be carried out independently, you’ll never be far from fellow officers based throughout the building or nearby.
