SEMH Complex Needs Teacher – Full-Time Opportunity
Are you a passionate and resilient educator with experience supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are currently seeking a dedicated SEMH Complex Needs Teacher to join a specialist setting on a full-time basis through Teaching Personnel.
This rewarding role involves working with students who require a highly supportive and structured learning environment. You will play a key part in delivering tailored lessons, promoting positive behaviour, and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet complex learning needs
Support students with SEMH challenges, fostering a safe and inclusive classroom environment
Implement behaviour management strategies effectively
Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and external professionals
Monitor and track student progress, adapting approaches as needed
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with SEMH and/or complex needs
Strong behaviour management skills and emotional resilience
A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach
A commitment to making a positive difference in students’ lives
