Job Opportunity: Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor
SRM is preparing for a major construction programme in Port Talbot, South Wales, involving heavy civil engineering works over the next 3 to 4 years, starting with enabling works in Q3 2025. We are seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HS&W) Advisor to join our team on this complex and technically challenging project valued at over £200m.

Role Overview
The HS&W Advisor supports the business in achieving industry-leading health, safety, and wellbeing performance by focusing on competence, process, culture, compliance, and learning. Collaboration with industry peers is key to our continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert HS&W advice and support to management, employees, and supply chain partners
* Work collaboratively with the client team to promote a positive safety culture
Candidate Profile
Essential:
* Member of IOSH
* NEBOSH Construction Certificate
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Experience supporting complex Construction or Civil Engineering projects
* Ability to conduct root cause analysis
* Proven track record of HS&W improvements
* Proactive approach to learning and development
Desirable:
* Chartered IOSH member
* NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 5/6 in Occupational Health and Safety
* Mental Health First Aider
* Understanding of behavioural psychology and human factors
* Environmental qualification
