Responsibilities
1. Full commercial responsibility across multiple groundworks and civils projects.
2. Preparing, managing and reviewing monthly CVRs and commercial reports.
3. Overseeing cost control, valuations, variations and final accounts.
4. Managing subcontract procurement, payments and commercial compliance.
5. Ensuring accurate contract administration and adherence to relevant contract frameworks.
6. Supporting the wider delivery teams with commercial strategy and risk management.
7. Acting as a key commercial point of contact within the business.
Experience Required
8. Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within groundworks, civils, or a related construction discipline.
9. Strong commercial awareness with experience managing multiple packages.
10. Excellent understanding of contract processes and commercial reporting.
11. Confident managing cost plans, budgets, CVRs and final accounts.
12. Ability to take full ownership of the commercial function and deliver to deadlines.
Desirable Knowledge / Skills
13. Experience within modular, groundworks or specialist civils subcontracting.
14. Strong communication skills with the ability to build long-term internal and external relationships.
15. A proactive, self-motivated approach with a focus on accountability and continuous improvement.
