Personal Assistant / Carer Required
I am seeking a Personal Assistant to work for 4-5 hours on one day per week, with specific day to be discussed during the interview. Some flexibility will be required regarding both days and hours, as well as the ability to provide cover for annual leave and sickness. The ideal start time is 10 am.
Job Purpose & Duties:
• Accompanying me on social outings and events.
• Assisting with household tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, and shopping.
Essential Skills & Attributes:
• A strong emphasis is placed on finding someone who is a good personality match, as the role involves spending significant time together.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be comfortable driving, with good knowledge of assisting with directions and providing support during travel.
• Excellent observational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and listen carefully.
• Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Good general fitness, as the role requires extensive standing and walking.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling all responsibilities with discretion.
Hours & Pay:
• 5 hours per week.
• Standard working hours: 10 am – 3 pm (flexibility is possible).
• Hourly rate: £12.21 per hour
* Flexibility is essential to cover holidays and sickness on short notice.
