We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. Duties
* Manage and supervise all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and customer service.
* Oversee kitchen activities, ensuring food safety standards are met and maintained at all times.
* Lead and motivate staff, providing training and support to optimise team performance.
* Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and timely service.
* Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation in all areas of the restaurant in accordance with health regulations.
* Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to uphold excellent service standards.
* Ensure compliance with licensing, health, safety, and employment legislation.
* Assist in marketing initiatives to promote the restaurant's offerings and attract new customers.
Qualifications
* Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
* Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
* Experience in food production, culinary arts, or kitchen management is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and hospitality practices.
* Previous experience in restaurant management or hotel operations is advantageous.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
* Good communication skills and a professional demeanour.
* Knowledge of barista services is a plus but not essential.
