Financial Services transactions – major international firm- London – 3-5 PQE
Our client is a major UK headquartered global law firm with an established and longstanding reputation in all the markets in which it operates.
Their Financial Services Transactions team is market-leading, and advises a stellar list of financial institutions, including banks, pension schemes, insurers and reinsurers, on complex capital-driven transactions. The team is particularly noted for its work on structured reinsurance deals — often involving high-value, cross-border elements and an increasingly diverse range of asset classes.
The work here sits at the intersection of structured finance and financial regulation, but candidates don’t need to have an insurance or regulatory background. What’s key is a solid transactional grounding (likely from a general finance or structured finance team, but possibly a focus on corporate transactions would be of interest too), a sharp commercial instinct, and a genuine appetite to develop in a fast-growing and evolving practice area.
