We have an exciting opportunity to join our Homes & Communities team as a Neighbourhood Assistant.
Our teams work collaboratively across our Regional Hubs to support customers and communities. This role will require regular working from our Regional Hubs in line with our mission to Connect with Customers.
This is a permanent, full-time position. Our teams work Monday to Friday and we support flexible working arrangements where possible.
What you’ll do
As a Neighbourhood Assistant, you will support the delivery of a person-centred housing management service as part of a multi-disciplinary Customer Operations team. You will provide administrative and operational support to Neighbourhood Coaches and colleagues across Homes & Communities, helping ensure customers receive a responsive and high-quality service.
The role involves responding to customer enquiries, supporting the lettings and rehousing process, assisting with rental and housing benefit queries, and maintaining accurate records. You will also help monitor rent accounts, support customers with payment arrangements where needed and assist with the management of low-level anti-social behaviour cases and tenancy-related processes.

What you’ll need
You will have experience working in a customer-focused environment and be confident communicating with a wide range of people. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload are important for this role.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, are essential, along with a positive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and customers. Experience in housing or tenancy-related services would be beneficial but is not essential.
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.
