IT Manager – Professional Services

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (with flexibility for out-of-hours support)

Overview
An established professional services firm is seeking a proactive and experienced IT Manager to oversee its IT infrastructure, systems, and support across multiple office locations. This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic oversight and operational delivery, with occasional travel between sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency and security
* Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective and scalable solutions
* Maintain and support the firm's case management system (e.g., Partner for Windows or similar)
* Ensure optimal performance, availability, and integrity of all IT systems and networks
* Oversee software licensing, system upgrades, and data backups
* Provide direct support for hardware and software issues across the organisation
* Deliver training and guidance to staff on core systems and tools
* Act as the primary contact for IT-related queries and incidents
* Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and implement proactive security measures
* Ensure compliance with GDPR and relevant industry regulations
* Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
* Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers
* Lead IT projects including migrations, rollouts, and infrastructure improvements
* Manage and maintain company websites
* Set up IT access and provide onboarding support for new staff
* Perform other IT-related duties as required
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role within a professional services or legal environment
* Strong working knowledge of legal case management systems (e.g., Partner for Windows)
* Solid understanding of networks, servers, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity protocols
* Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills
* Ability to explain technical concepts in clear, accessible language
* Strong organisational and leadership capabilities

* Do you drive? (Essential) - will be Gravesend based but they have several other offices in Kent which you may need to attend time to time.
