We are seeking experienced SEND Teaching Assistants for daily supply roles across schools in Collier Row and the surrounding areas, starting as soon as possible. SEND Teaching Assistant Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities Support pupils with personal care needs, where required Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive interactions Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs Collaborate with SENCOs and other professionals to implement EHCPs Ideal Candidate for SEND Teaching Assistant Roles Relevant SEND or Teaching Assistant qualifications Proven experience supporting children with SEND in a school setting A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach Strong communication and teamwork skills as SEND Teaching Assistants A proactive attitude and willingness to learn A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures Why Step Teachers?
