Role 1: Analyst (Children, Education and Families) 1-year fixed termThis role will focus on delivering analytical work for our Childrens, Education and Families directorate, with a specific focus on the Risk Outside The Home (ROTH) safeguarding programme, alongside other analytical tasks that support service planning and delivery.For more information or an informal discussion, please contact Andy Mailer, Performance & Intelligence Manager (Children, Education and Families) at Andrew.Mailer@Cambridgeshire.gov.uk Role 2: Analyst (forecasting and demography) - 1-year fixed termThis role will focus on delivering work on behalf of our district partners to support local planning and dwelling stock and population change. A team of 50 individuals who provide data, analysis, insight and policy expertise to support the operational management and strategic planning of services.We are a family-friendly employer and will be happy to negotiate on working arrangements to achieve a good work / life balance. Are you ambitious, innovative, good with data and passionate with an enthusiasm for supporting evidence led decision making. If so, we may have the roles you’ve been searching for! We are looking for individuals with strong technical skills, who has a sound understanding of a range of data sources and can practically apply those skills to embed new data solutions. You will have experience of service improvement projects, an ability to work well with others and excellent organisational skills. Good communication skills, both oral and written, are essential for these roles, as the post holders will be required to present complex and sometimes technical information in appropriate forms for a wide range of internal and external audiences. You will have relevant previous experience in a similar field. High level of competence with Power BI, data analysis, and specialist data analytical software are also desirable.
