Role Description
This is a full-time Semi Senior Accountant role based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom, with a hybrid working model allowing some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves assisting with bookkeeping, preparing statutory accounts, handling payroll and PAYE, conducting tax calculations, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The accountant will also engage in client communication, financial reporting, and providing support for business operations to enable client growth and efficiency.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Bookkeeping, preparation of Statutory Accounts, and Payroll management
* Strong skills in Tax Computations and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for client interactions
* Relevant qualifications such as AAT, ACCA, or CIMA (part-qualified or qualified preferred)
* Prior experience in an accountancy practice or a similar role is advantageous
* Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and adapt in a hybrid working environment
Salary
Salary for the right candidate is between £28,000 and £33,000.
