Payroll Officer BS4, Bristol Up to £35,000 per annum Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm Hybrid working – 2 days in the office (Wednesday 1 other), 3 days WFH About the Role: We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our head office team at a well-established engineering company in Bristol. Reporting into the Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for running accurate and compliant payroll processes for our workforce. What You’ll Be Doing: * Manage the full end-to-end payroll process (monthly & weekly) * Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations including RTI, P60s, and P45s * Process starters, leavers, holiday, sick pay, pensions and deductions * Liaise with departments and external providers (e.g. HMRC, pension schemes) * Maintain accurate employee records and payroll documentation * Assist with year-end reporting and audits What We’re Looking For: * Proven experience in a payroll position * Familiarity with payroll systems such as Sage Payroll, iTrent, ADP, or similar * Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and HMRC processes * High level of accuracy and confidentiality * Excellent communication and organisational skills What You’ll Get in Return: * Competitive salary up to £35,000 (depending on experience) * Flexible hybrid working – 2 office days (including Wednesday), 3 days WFH * 25 days holiday bank holidays * Company pension scheme * Free on-site parking * Supportive and friendly finance team in a growing company Interested?
