About Us

Prince Henry’s is an over‑subscribed comprehensive school with over 1,660 students, including around 350 in the Sixth Form. Our Ofsted Report (November 2024) confirms us as an outstanding school across all areas. We serve the market town of Otley and surrounding villages, providing high‑quality professional development and management of our own teaching and associate teams. Prince Henry’s is a strategic partner in the Red Kite Teaching School Alliance, working with partners to develop and deliver high quality CPL to staff across the region.


Job Description

Attendance Administrator – Grade B3. Salary £22,458.39 to £23,937.58 per annum. 37 hours per week. Permanent – term time only, plus 2 additional days. The successful candidate will support the school’s attendance system by ensuring all student registers are completed accurately and promptly, processing absence request forms, and maintaining clear, up‑to‑date records. The role requires an individual who is highly organised, committed, and able to identify and follow up on gaps or anomalies in attendance data.


Qualifications

* English & Mathematics GCSE Grade A*-C or equivalent
* Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Word and Excel
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals
* Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
* Understanding of school attendance processes (desirable)
