Receive and process warehouse stock products including but not limited to picking, unloading, labelling, and storing. Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for stock take and optimise space utilisation. Implement the company's Health and Safety Policy, ensuring safe operations and compliance with all relevant regulation, and quality procedures at all times. Ensure warehousing goals are met, and other general administration tasks when required. Achieve expected levels in a timely manner, with minimum cost and higher output efficiency. Provide regular feedback to supervisors and managers on output issues and effectively address any areas of concern to ensure continued good operations. Promote a team-work ethos and a ‘can-do’ approach. Communicate effectively with the Warehouse Supervisors, Warehouse Administration, Warehouse Management and the transport team, to create strong professional relationships and to maximise the success of the operation. Understand the role of the Warehouse Supervisors. Assume the duties and responsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisors as required in the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor as directed by the Warehouse Manager. Complete any other tasks as required by management for the smooth and efficient operation of the department. The training you will be getting Level 3 Transport and Warehouse Operations Supervisor apprenticeship standard, including Functional Skills if required. Tech cert- This programme includes Level 3 CMI certificate in leadership and management. This is a work based programme which means that all of your learning will take place on the site of your employment and within your contracted working hours. We host supporting workshops regularly throughout the apprenticeship which you can attend in person at our Derby Road campus. You will work with expert assessors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession. You will experience a blended learning model. You will gather learning evidence, journals and off-the-job records using your e-portfolio. At the end of the planned learning period, it will be agreed that you are ready to enter 'Gateway' and for your End Point Assessment to be arranged.
