Key Responsibilities
3. Manage and support EMEA infrastructure services, including Azure cloud environments, on-premise servers, storage, and networking.
4. Maintain and enhance network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, wireless) to ensure reliability and performance.
5. Administer and support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and other core enterprise platforms.
6. Collaborate with global infrastructure teams to align regional operations with global standards and best practices.
7. Contribute to the design, implementation, and delivery of global infrastructure projects and architecture improvements.
8. Ensure infrastructure systems meet high standards of availability, performance, scalability, and security.
9. Monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot issues proactively, and plan for capacity growth.
10. Maintain accurate documentation for systems, configurations, and operational procedures.
11. Provide senior-level escalation support for infrastructure incidents and service requests.
12. Support compliance activities, including IT security audits and risk assessments.
13. Assist in the development, maintenance, and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
14. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
15. Perform other technical or operational duties as required to support business objectives.
You must have a technical background and be hands in Infrastructure engineering best practices, Servers, Networks, Disaster Recovery, Security, Cloud / on premise solutions. You need to be able to be all hands on deck when needed and this is a hands on role.
The Successful Applicant
The idea Technical Infrastructure Manager should have:
16. At least 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure roles, ideally supporting regional or global environments.
17. Strong hands-on expertise across cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), networking, firewalls, and server infrastructure.
18. Proven experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
19. Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell) is highly desirable.
20. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
21. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in distributed or cross-functional teams.
22. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
23. Experience managing relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
24. Solid understanding of ITIL processes and service management best practices.
25. Self-driven, proactive, and committed to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
