We are recruiting for aTechnical SOP Writerto expand our catalogue of Technical Standard Operating Procedures. This is primarily an administrative role that involves national travel with overnight stays and sits within the L&D reporting function.
The ideal candidate will be able to manage and prioritise their workload while liasing with other departments to assess business needs. It is expected that the candidate will spend time working away in the field in order to complete tasks.
Duties as a Technical SOP Writer include:
Collaborate with operational, engineering, and training teams to observe processes and gather accurate information for developing clear, standardised SOPs.
Create, maintain and take ownership of SOP matrix and prioritise workload accordingly
Write, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures and supporting process documentation.
Translate technical information into clear, step-by-step procedures tailored to users with varying level of experience.
Format documents for clarity and accessibility.
Stay informed on best practices in process documentation standards to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of SOPs.
Were looking for a Technical SOP Writer who has:
Electromechanical Engineering Experience
Experience with Bakery and Catering equipment (service and maintenance background)
Experience writing technical documentation for audiences with different levels of technical understanding
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Accurate and methodical approach to work
Excellent writing, editing and communication skills
Competent to use Microsoft 365
Must have full, clean driving licence
