Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and qualified mental health professional (RMN, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker) to join our perinatal mental health community team. The role involves providing holistic assessment, tailored support, and working collaboratively with partner agencies to support women experiencing mental health difficulties during and after pregnancy.
Responsibilities
1. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team offering comprehensive perinatal mental health services.
2. Manage and coordinate complex care packages for mothers and infants.
3. Assess referrals, participate in triage, and provide duty support on a rota basis.
4. Maintain accurate records, participate in multidisciplinary meetings, and support service users and their families.
5. Adhere to professional standards and contribute to service development.
Candidate Requirements
* Registered Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker with current registration.
* Experience working with women with perinatal mental health issues.
* Effective communication skills and understanding of safeguarding procedures.
