Job Description
3. Process invoices, payments, and financial transactions accurately and promptly.
4. Assist in preparing financial reports for internal and external use.
5. Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
6. Support the reconciliation of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
7. Respond to queries regarding financial processes and transactions.
8. Collaborate with team members in the Accounting & Finance department to ensure smooth operations.
9. Help monitor budgets and identify discrepancies for resolution.
10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial procedures and systems.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
11. Previous experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the Not For Profit sector.
12. Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
13. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
14. The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
15. A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
16. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
