Job Description
Job Title: Barista
Department: Scoff, Gallery, F&B
Inspired and Supported by: Restaurant General Manager
Salary: 35,438 including service charge
Your purpose will be: To deliver an exceptional five-star service experience by preparing and serving premium coffee and tea beverages, while creating memorable and personalised moments for every guest within Gallery, Scoff.
You will be accountable for: You will be responsible for consistently delivering warm, professional, and refined service that reflects the standards of a five-star luxury hotel.

5. Engaging guests with enthusiasm and confidence, sharing knowledge of our food and beverage offerings
6. Preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages to the highest standards of presentation and taste
7. Ensuring all service standards, policies, and procedures are followed to create a seamless luxury experience
8. Maintaining exceptional cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of the barista station at all times
9. Anticipating guest needs and responding with confidence, care, and attention to detail
10. Supporting the wider Gallery team to ensure efficient, smooth, and collaborative service
11. Preparing and serving a full range of hot and cold beverages with precision and consistency
12. Delivering beverages efficiently while maintaining elegance and professionalism
13. Providing warm, attentive, and personalised service to every guest
14. Demonstrating strong product knowledge to confidently recommend beverages and suitable pairings
15. Upholding all health, safety, hygiene, and food safety standards in line with company policies
16. Contributing positively to a professional, supportive, and high-performing team environment
Qualifications
What you will need to do in this role?
17. Demonstrate exceptional guest service skills with a genuine passion for luxury hospitality
18. Possess strong knowledge of coffee and tea preparation techniques
19. Communicate confidently and professionally with guests and colleagues
20. Maintain high attention to detail in presentation, cleanliness, and service delivery

22. Manage time effectively and multitask within a fast-paced environment

24. Uphold brand standards, policies, and procedures at all times
25. Remain calm, composed, and professional under pressure
