Working 35 hours per week, including study time in accordance with your apprenticeship requirements. £10.87 basic per hour, plus enhancements (where applicable). Normal shift patterns will be 08:30 – 4.30pm Monday – Friday (1 hour unpaid lunch)
What can you expect from an apprenticeship?
* Support to develop your career in your chosen field.

* After your induction you will be working 35 hours per week with protected time to complete apprenticeship work.

What will you learn?
* Core Business Administration Skills: Organisation, time management, and attention to detail.
* Communication & Customer Service: Professional email etiquette, phone handling, and welcoming delegates.
* Event Coordination: Planning and supporting training sessions and meetings.
* IT & Systems Knowledge: Using learning management systems, updating records, and generating reports.
* Compliance & Documentation: Understanding workplace policies and maintaining accurate records.
* Team Collaboration: Working closely with trainers, HR, and other departments to deliver high-quality support.

* While not guaranteed, the apprenticeship may lead to a permanent position with St Monica Trust after completion of your apprenticeship.

Training & Development
You will receive on-the-job training and mentoring, alongside formal learning to achieve a recognised qualification in Business Administration. This role offers a strong foundation for future career progression.
Skills and Qualifications:

* Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and telephone)
* High attention to detail and pride in delivering accurate work
* Basic understanding of IT hardware and ability to connect equipment (e.g. projectors, laptops) for training sessions.
* Competent in using a wide range of PC software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Minimum of 5 GCSE passes (or equivalent).
* Good customer service skills and confident telephone manner.
* Commitment to personal development and ability to take advantage of training opportunities.
* Demonstrates personal qualities such as self-motivation, confidentiality, tact, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work without direct supervision and use initiative effectively.
