This is a hybrid position from our head office in London, due to growth of the business, we have a brand new opportunity for a talented FP&A professional to join the Group Finance team as FP&A Lead. Acting as deputy to our Group Head of FP&A, and working closely with the broader Finance Leadership team, you will drive the monthly reporting and forecasting and annual budget cycle for the Group. You will work with the Finance Business Partners and FP&A team in India and the UK to ensure consistency, automation and commercial messaging and inputs.
Responsibilities - FP&A
* Deliver accurate monthly financial reporting with clear messaging for Executive and Board audiences, highlighting areas requiring management action.
* Build commercial forecasts as well as operationalising these and building them into frameworks.
* Lead group-wide budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
* Provide forward-looking visibility into financial metrics linked to shareholder value creation.
* Collaborate with SMEs to maintain and enhance Adaptive planning models.
* Track and report key financial KPIs across the Group.
Responsibilities - Process & Controls Development
* Identify and implement improvements in FP&A processes and controls, including standardisation.
* Ensure adherence to PE reporting standards and internal audit requirements.
Responsibilities - Transformation & Change Support
* Champion continuous improvement in financial reporting, analytics, and decision support tools.
* Work with the M&A Team to provide analysis on new business cases as required to support Aptia's overall growth strategy.
* Work with data team to drive data integrations to support reporting and planning activities.
* You will be a key member of the senior finance team, also providing support for the Group CFO, so strong stakeholder management and communication skills will be key.
Qualifications
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
* Proven substantive experience in an FP&A function in an autonomous or leadership role.
* Experience in a carve-out, PE-backed, or high-change environment is highly desirable.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Comfortable working in ambiguity and building processes from scratch.
* Experience with Workday Adaptive and FP&A system implementation would be highly desirable.
