Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Classic Car Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in using hand tools and power tools to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles. This role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
Duties
* Maintain and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
* Use hand tools and power tools effectively to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
* Interpret schematics and technical manuals to understand vehicle systems and components.
* Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts as needed for repairs or replacements.
* Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's needs and repair status.
* Willingness to learn new techniques in restoration, fabrication, or paint prep
Qualifications
* Mechanical / Electrical experience working with classic cars is required
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive issues.
* Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents.
* Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards clients.
* A valid driving licence is required
