Hours: 16 – 20 hours per week on a rota basis, with overtime available to cover sickness and holiday
Monday-Friday 09:00-13:00
Salary: £12.60 per hour
Key Responsibilities
•Follow health and safety, cleaning, food preparation, and till procedures.
•Ensure dishes and crockery are cleaned to a high standard.
•Support food preparation as directed by the Chef.
•Attend on-site functions as needed (additional hours paid).
•Clean all catering areas thoroughly.
•Monitor, clean, and record refrigeration temperatures daily.
•Serve customers in the Bistro with a friendly attitude.
•Maintain high food hygiene standards.
•Assist with stock control and restocking.
•Handle cash and operate electronic tills accurately.
Essential Skills and Experience:
•Experience working in a busy kitchen environment.
•Ability to take direction from management.
•Experience with ordering and stock control.
•Food Hygiene qualification.
•Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
•Willingness to learn and adapt.
Additional Requirements:
•Active participation in team meetings.
•Enhanced DBS disclosure required.
•Flexibility to undertake additional duties as needed.
•Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
•Commitment to health and safety practices, including safeguarding protocols.
