An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed Charge Nurse to work in an exceptional mental health hospital based in Arnold, Nottinghamshire. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.
This hospital provides acute adult mental health services, in partnership with the local healthcare trust. They also have a medium secure service on-site for patients with learning disabilities, with plans to develop other service types in the future.
To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as an RMN or RNLD Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Responsibilities of a Charge Nurse:
* Work alongside the ward manager to ensure compliance with audit requirements and lead the implementation of recommendations.
* Ensure compliance with legislative and professional standards.
* Act as clinical supervisor and ensure staff participate in clinical supervision.
* Monitor, evaluate, and ensure effective use of resources within set budgets.
* Operate effectively as a team member.
* Promote effective decision-making.
* Act as mentor/preceptor and support the development of student nurses and team members.
* Assess staff nurses within the competency development programme.

The successful candidate will receive an excellent salary of GBP41,475 to GBP44,648 per annum, depending on experience. This is a full-time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week. Benefits include:
