This role is for a Senior Drainage Engineer specializing in Water, Drainage and Environmental Engineering for transportation infrastructure projects, based in Leeds or Belfast.
Responsibilities
* Delivery of a wide variety of civil engineering projects, such as highway, rail, infrastructure and site development schemes.
* Delivery of projects from concept through to completion, ensuring technical quality, timeliness, and commercial success.
* Delivering a broad range of drainage services for major transport and infrastructure projects in the UK.
* Lead client relationships and attend client progress meetings (senior grades).
* Manage a team of drainage engineers, supporting technical development and ensuring project resources.
Qualifications
* Chartered or Incorporated Engineer and/or degree qualified (role dependent).
* Extensive post-qualification experience in designing sustainable drainage solutions.
* Knowledge of drainage design principles and solutions to manage infrastructure drainage.
* Experience with Civil 3D and/or Causeway Flow software / MicroDrainage.
* Proven knowledge of UK technical standards, Building Regulations, Design Standards, Codes of Practice and Health & Safety regulations.
* Experience in managing projects/programmes and teams to meet quality and commercial targets.
* Technical experience in one or more of the following areas:
o Highway Drainage
o Rail Drainage
o Airport Drainage
o Asset Management
o Foul water
o Sustainable foul and surface water drainage design
o Drainage modelling software (Causeway Flow or Microdrainage)
