Our Alan Gray Court service operates 24/7, assisting clients around the clock. We seek enthusiastic, caring individuals to help our clients access the community and lead meaningful lives. Shifts include days and nights.
As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to enable our clients to live their best lives. A valid UK driving license is required for this role.

Main duties of the job
* Person-Centred: Develop and review support plans reflecting clients’ views, aspirations, and changing needs.
* Respectful: Support clients to achieve independence, participate in social activities, and develop skills and interests.
* Open: Communicate transparently with clients and team members, acting with integrity.
* Understanding: Provide personal care respecting client dignity, including assistance with washing and toileting.
* Dedicated: Keep accurate records, including daily notes, involving clients where appropriate.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
* Provide appropriate care and support, including personal care, as per care plans.
* Maintain accurate written and numerical records.
* Perform personal care and domestic duties specific to each service.
* Carry out physical tasks such as climbing stairs, using hoists, pushing wheelchairs, and night work. Adjustments will be considered for disabilities.
* Learn to use computer packages (Word, Outlook, Internet) and undertake relevant training.
* Work cooperatively within a team.
* Communicate effectively with carers, families, inspectors, and external stakeholders.
* A valid UK driving license is essential.
