Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Pay: £125-£130 per day
Full-time/ Term Time only

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our supportive and forward-thinking school team for Art cover 2 Days a week. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting teachers, leading learning activities, and helping to raise pupil achievement across the school.
Higher Level Teaching Assistant Role:
Deliver high-quality support to pupils, including those with additional needs, both in groups and individually
Lead lessons and learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher
Manage classroom resources and maintain a positive learning environment
Support assessment and feedback processes to track pupil progress
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies
Provide cover for classes when requiredHigher Level Teaching Assistant Requirements:
HLTA status or equivalent qualification
Experience working in a school environment supporting children aged 11 to 17 years.
Ability to lead learning activities confidently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a commitment to inclusive education
Good organisational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
